From discovery to delivery

The operational process from discovery to delivery of refined products stipulates demands for a high level of commitment, innovation and responsibility. Exploration

Exploration involves identifying and investigating areas to find mineral deposits. Having a good knowledge of the mineral reserve and geological expertise is a precondition for important decisions. The exploration work is a precursor for sustainable and long-term work at Gold Valley.

Exploitation

Gold Valley carries out exploration in the field. It involves conducting investigations in new areas, as well as supporting local initiatives of artisanal exploration of resources. Exploitation assumes respect for the surroundings, responsibility for the environment and co-operation with local populations and local businesses.

Mining

Ore is currently extracted from open-pit mines. Open-pit mining takes place in several stages. In the first stage, the ore is extracted at one level before moving down a step. Gold Valley provides expertise and technique for developing existing open-pit mining in sustainable and safe ways. Underground mining projects are under development.

Processing & Trading

The transforming of ore into gold bars, as well as the official registration of its value is made through the Gold Valley network. Regional trading centers are established for purchasing the local production with the assistance of local Trading Officers. Gold Valley also represents its members on the global trading market.
